What can we help with?

Most messages we receive fall into four categories, and all four get a same-day reply during business hours:

• Product documentation — questions about lot testing, analytical method, or what accompanies a specific vial.
• Delivery and coverage — whether we reach your city, what the courier rate is, and what time you need to order by.
• Order status — where an order is, or a correction before the noon cutoff.
• Ordering and payment — accepted methods, invoicing, and anything unclear at checkout.

What we cannot advise on

Everything we supply is sold for laboratory research use only — not for human or animal consumption, not for diagnostic or therapeutic use, and not for any in-vivo application. That means we cannot provide dosing guidance, preparation volumes, reconstitution protocols, or any suggestion of an effect in a person. Those decisions belong to the qualified researcher and sit outside what we publish or discuss. Asking will not offend us; we will simply tell you the same thing.

When will you get a reply?

We answer email during standard Pacific business hours, Monday through Friday. Messages that arrive before 12:00 p.m. Pacific are almost always answered the same day, which matters if you are trying to place or amend an order ahead of the same-day delivery cutoff. Weekend and holiday messages are answered the next business day.

If your question is time-sensitive and relates to an order going out today, telephone is faster than email.

What is the same-day delivery cutoff?

12:00 p.m. Pacific, Monday through Friday. Orders placed before it are delivered the same business day by local courier across the Bay Area; orders after it go out the next business day.

Courier rates depend on the city — $19.95 in San Francisco, $24.95 in Oakland and Hayward, $49.95 in San Jose and Sunnyvale, and $74.95 in Fremont and Santa Clara. The delivery areas page lists the full Bay Area footprint, and Los Angeles and everywhere else nationwide ships by FedEx 2Day at a flat $19.99.

Can you confirm what testing a specific lot had? Yes. Give us the compound and we will tell you what was measured and by whom. Our guide to reading a certificate of analysis covers how to interpret it.

Can I change an order after placing it? Before the noon cutoff, usually yes. After it, the order is already with the courier.

Who can order? Purchasers aged 21 or older who accept the research-use-only terms.
