FAQ SF Bay Area Peptides

Ordering & payment

Q: How do I pay for my order?

A: By debit or credit card, processed through Stripe and settled in USDC — a digital currency pegged 1:1 to the US dollar. You do not need to own cryptocurrency or have any experience with it; Stripe’s checkout handles the conversion for you. Budget about three minutes for a first order. Pay on Delivery is also available for local Bay Area courier orders. Full walkthrough on our Payment Instructions page.

Q: I’ve never bought crypto before. Is this complicated?

A: No. At the provider screen select Stripe.com/Link.com, then follow the prompts — sign in, verify your device with a code, enter your card. The destination wallet is filled in for you and the conversion is automatic. You never enter a wallet address, handle a seed phrase, or choose a network. Once you’ve done it once, repeat orders are much faster.

Q: Why does the payment screen say MetaMask?

A: The card-to-crypto checkout is powered by MetaMask’s infrastructure, so their branding appears. You are not being asked to install MetaMask, create a wallet, or open an account. Nothing to download — just continue through the Link checkout.

Q: I paid and nothing happened — there was no “order complete” page. Did it work?

A: Yes. There is no final confirmation page, and the checkout does not return you to our website. Once Stripe’s Link screen says your purchase was successful, you’re finished — just close the browser.

You may also see an older tab still saying “Please complete your purchase at the payment provider page.” That page doesn’t refresh after a successful payment. Ignore it, and do not pay again. Your payment receipt arrives by email within moments, and your order confirmation follows within 12 hours.

Q: How long do I have to complete payment?

A: 60 minutes from placing your order. Unpaid orders cancel automatically after an hour so the stock is released back to other researchers.

If your order does cancel you haven’t lost anything and nothing was charged — just place it again. This is also why we ask you not to open a new Robinhood account mid-checkout: approval takes days, and your order won’t survive the wait.

Q: What emails will I get, and when?

A: Three. Immediately — a payment receipt from Link titled “Your crypto purchase was successful.” This is not from us and won’t mention your products; it confirms your payment went through. Within 12 hours — your order confirmation from us, listing your products, address and total. On dispatch — your shipping notification with courier or FedEx tracking.

The gap between the first and second is normal. If you’ve received the first one, your payment is confirmed.

Q: I got an email about a “crypto purchase” and a Zero Hash document. What is this?

A: That’s your payment receipt, and it’s the expected first email. It comes from Stripe’s Link rather than from us, which is why it references MetaMask and Zero Hash — the providers behind the checkout — instead of your products.

The attached Zero Hash trade confirmation contains standard financial disclosures about cryptocurrency: transactions being final, price risk, fraud awareness. That is boilerplate attached to every transaction of this type, not something specific to your order, and it doesn’t change our terms. Your order is priced in dollars and delivered as physical goods. Your actual order confirmation arrives separately from us within 12 hours.

Q: What will show up on my card statement?

A: STRIPE*STRIPE-METAM… — not “SF Bay Area Peptides.” You may also see a temporary authorization slightly above your order total; that’s a standard pre-authorization hold, not a second charge, and it drops off automatically within 7 days. The amount actually charged is your order total.

If anything looks wrong, email us before disputing — a dispute cancels your order and ties up your funds for weeks, and we can confirm the charge against your order number the same day.

Q: The payment page warned me this could be a scam. Should I be worried?

A: That’s a standard automatic warning Stripe’s Link shows every user, and it’s sound advice — it protects people who’ve been talked into payments by strangers over the phone. If you started this checkout yourself from our website, you’re in the right place. Continue.

That said, take the warning seriously in one respect: we will never call or message you to walk you through a payment. If someone contacts you claiming to be from SF Bay Area Peptides and guides you through a payment, stop and email support@sfbayareapeptides.com.

Q: Will I have to verify my identity?

A: Yes, once. On your first purchase the payment provider asks for a photo of a government-issued ID — driver’s license, state ID, or passport. This is a legal requirement for any card-to-crypto transaction in the US, not something specific to us, and it applies to every provider on that screen. It takes under a minute and you won’t be asked again. The provider handles it entirely; we never see or store your ID.

Q: Can I pay with PayPal?

A: No. PayPal appears on the provider screen because the payment platform lists it by default, but it does not process these transactions — attempts fail at the final step. The same is true of Ramp Network, which times out. Neither will charge you, but neither will get your order moving. Please select Stripe.com/Link.com.

PayPal does work for paying a courier at your door on a local Pay on Delivery order — different system, different result.

Q: Can I use Robinhood?

A: Only if you already have a funded Robinhood account with a settled balance. Don’t open one for this — approval, bank linking and deposit clearing take three to five business days, and first-time crypto withdrawals are often restricted for an additional holding period. Your order will expire before you can pay.

Q: It says the price of USDC updated. What do I do?

A: Click Accept and pay. The final screen has a short price-refresh timer, and if it expires before you finish you’ll be asked to accept a refreshed quote. Your dollar total does not change — USDC is pegged 1:1 to the dollar. It’s a routine refresh, not a price increase.

Q: How long does payment take to confirm, and when will my order ship?

A: Your card confirms instantly. The USDC then settles, usually under a minute but it can take up to 10 minutes. Once it lands, your order updates from Pending payment to Processing automatically.

Orders confirmed before 12:00 p.m. Pacific on a business day are dispatched by local courier the same afternoon, or prepared for same-day FedEx 2Day pickup nationwide. Orders paid after the cutoff, or at weekends and holidays, are processed the next business day.

Q: My order still says Pending payment. What now?

A: Pending payment means we haven’t received payment confirmation yet. If you haven’t paid, complete the payment step — you have 60 minutes from placing the order before it cancels automatically.

If you have paid and it still shows Pending payment after about 15 minutes, email support@sfbayareapeptides.com with your order number straight away. Don’t wait it out — unpaid orders auto-cancel at the 60-minute mark and we’d rather catch it first. Please don’t attempt a second payment; duplicates are much harder to reconcile than one stalled attempt.

Q: Can I cancel my order?

A: Yes, while it’s still Pending payment, meaning payment hasn’t been confirmed. Email support@sfbayareapeptides.com with your order number and we’ll cancel it, no questions asked — or simply leave it and it will cancel itself after 60 minutes. Once payment confirms and it moves to Processing, it enters fulfillment and our all-sales-final policy applies.

Q: Is my payment reversible?

A: No. Confirmed USDC payments are final and cannot be charged back. Please review your order confirmation carefully and contact us before paying if anything needs correcting. If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, our replacement policy applies in full — email a photo to support@sfbayareapeptides.com within 48 hours of delivery.

Q: Can I pay when the order arrives instead?

A: Yes, for local Bay Area courier deliveries — select Pay on Delivery at checkout. You pay the courier at your door using CashApp, Venmo, PayPal or Zelle. Please have one of those apps installed and funded before your delivery window, and a government-issued photo ID ready for verification. Not available on FedEx nationwide orders. Contact us before ordering to confirm your address qualifies.

Q: Do you accept physical cash, ACH, or checks?

A: No. Despite the name some checkout systems use, our courier option is app-based — CashApp, Venmo, PayPal or Zelle only. Please don’t have cash ready expecting the courier to take it. Institutional and university purchasers with procurement requirements that can’t accommodate card or app payment should email support@sfbayareapeptides.com and we’ll work with you directly.
